 From the East Brethren: First and foremost I must thank, give praise, and all honors to God who is the foundation on which I stand and through whom all things are possible. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to serve our lodge as Worshipful Master for the upcoming Masonic year. I do not take the task before me lightly. The gavel, which has been passed on to me, is not just a symbol of authority but also a mark of trust. As a lodge, you have entrusted me to conduct the affairs of our lodge in accordance with your wishes. I am thankful and eager to serve. This is a pivotal year, we are operating in a “new normal” and together must navigate the changes of our fraternity and the manner in which it operates in an effort to maintain our footprint in the community in which we serve.
